This notice explains how AL BERKAT WHOLESALE SDN. BHD. ("we", "us") processes your personal data when you visit this website, place an order or contact us.
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number.
- Delivery details: shipping address, city, state and postcode.
- Order details: products purchased, amounts, vouchers used and order history.
- Payment status from our payment provider (Billplz). We do not receive or store your bank login or card details.
- Messages you send us through forms, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data such as device type and pages visited, through essential cookies.
2. Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including sharing delivery details with Ninja Van.
- To confirm payments with Billplz and prevent fraud.
- To reply to your enquiries and handle returns or complaints.
- To send newsletters and offers — only if you subscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with service providers acting for us: Ninja Van (delivery), Billplz (payment), our email provider and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for seven years as required by Malaysian tax law. Account data is kept while your account is active. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept for up to two years.
5. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may:
- request access to, and a copy of, the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time;
- ask us to limit how we process your data.
Providing your name, contact and delivery details is necessary to fulfil an order; without them we cannot process your purchase.
